Offering Tutoring From Pre-K to 12th Grade

Our goal at Raising Stars Tutoring and Learning Center is to help close the achievement gaps in schools by equipping our future leaders to be very successful with what they do. We believe every child is unique, so our well trained and certified professionals closely work with each child to bring the best in them since we know one cup does NOT fit all.

Our various teaching strategies help our children love school, close their learning gaps, facilitate their speed and learning skills, build their self-confidence, get more engaged in class, become independent learners, among others.

About Us
Raising Stars Tutoring and Learning Center was founded on April 2nd, 2018. The founder (Antoinette Wright) is a loving teacher, coach, and a Doctor of education in school administration. She has worked with many schools and districts ranging from Birth to 3-year old’s, various Pre- schools, and Kindergarten through 12th Grade institutions. During her extensive years of service, she saw the need and desire to help close the achievement gaps occurring among many students in schools. Her gentle, loving, and passionate heart for children bled each time she saw and heard many young children trail at school due to various reasons. With her vision and goal to help support every child succeed at school to break the educational gaps, she founded this great group “Raising Stars”! This professional group has passionate, loving, licensed and experienced educators who LOVE supporting children.

Our mission and goal are to support children all walks of life in their educational journey to become successful! Equipping our future generation of leaders is our KEY. We believe excellence has no limit, and that every child has the right and ability to excel/become successful at school. Equipping every child to succeed is important. Therefore, our group specializes in getting to know our children and customizes each child’s needs to be supported in their best learning ways. We ensure we turn TIME into SUCCESS!

Our specialized trained teaching skills bring the best in every child. Students’ academic achievement is our EXPERTISE. We specialize in making our students become very confident, independent, and more successful in their academic journey. Our tutoring support uses various engaging key concepts and strategies such as hands-on learning, accountable talk, academic vocabulary and language, direct instruction, graphic organizers, jigsaw, integration of content areas, SIOP, music and song, number talks, Kagan concepts, Scaffolding, modeling, mastery learning, among other techniques to accelerate our students learning SPEED and SKILL.

We know every child is unique and special, that is why we get to know our children and their learning styles to accommodate each individual child’s need. You cannot get to children’s heads (minds) without first getting to their hearts. That is why our professional team of experts LOVE every child unconditionally to bring the BEST in them.
